Bob Hope once said, "I don't feel anything till noon. That's when it's time for my nap." Gift idea: Eric Anderson would like this embroidered on a pillow.
Eric Anderson's got all the answers.
Hankering for an end to the health care crisis? Lie down for a bit. Worried about Paris Hilton's legal troubles? Catch a catnap. Got a tricky red wine and chocolate stain? Yep -- make time for a little shuteye. The answer will be clear when you awake.
"I have two speeds," says Eric. "On and off. When I'm on, I'm intensely on. But, the other side of that is..."
In the pause it seems as if he might drift off to Snoozeville. "Let's just say that I believe naps are the solution to all of life's problems," he says. "The conflict in the Middle East is probably rooted in sleep deprivation."
But when Eric is on, big things happen. As he talks about the "meaty issues" SE2 addresses, it's clear that he loves influencing policies that touch real people in real ways.
"It's great to be involved in the issues people are talking about," he says.
"There's a rule in my house: when daddy's home, everybody naps."
